Quality Inn & Suites Somerset Downtown

The Quality Inn was very nice. The people that we had contact with were Super. The room was very clean and mostly comfortable. The one draw back was that on one side of our king size mattress was a spot that when I sat on it , it was like there was absolutely no support in that one area. Thankfully it was a king size bed and there was still enough room for my wife and I to get a decent night's sleep. It was late when we discovered this so I didn't report this until the next morning. The lady that we spoke with was very apologetic and not sure how that was missed. I told her that I felt like they would surely want to fix that before the room was used again. Happy with our conversation and felt sure that they would take care of the issue. We would surely stay there again.

I come here all the time for their cheap laundry however last night a really rude worker took my laundry out of the washer and left it in the counter so she could do her own laundry.. and then checking out, my kids got some Kool aid on a towel and they charged me 20 bucks for Kool aid on a towel. This places key cards never work and their rooms smell really bad And they have bugs!

Overall the stay was satisfactory. The room had some minor issues such as the noise from the toilet filling every few mins from a leak and the room seemed spot cleaned and not actually cleaned.(found food in tighter spaces that would require a chair to be slid to properly clean and floors seemed soiled or stained). Im a little disappointed due to i had to pay extra for having a pet because they have to do "extra cleaning" but it seems they don't properly maintain the floors regularly or do they wait until a pet carrying customer comes so the house cleaning does their jobs effectively?

Older unit needs a elevator.|When I checked in I was surprised to find out no elevator I'm a older guy and stairs don't like me any more. My room was quickly moved to the 1st floor. I had a great night's sleep, a great hot shower and a hot breakfast. I was ready to go to work. Everything was clean and the staff was very helpful.

The first room 131 smelled bad and had mold on the bed legs and frame that the bed sits on. Shelia was so kind and helpful as she took us to other rooms until we were "satisfied". The room that we finally picked didn't smell bad. After we brought our bags in I saw there was dried urine on and under the toilet seat and a black ring around the waterline in the toilet. There was dirt in the jacuzzi. The sink stopper wouldn't work proper. The shower curtain rod was coming away from the walls on both sides so the shower curtain kept moving toward the middle away from the walls allowing water to splash out. The couch arms were crusty feeling. The bed was hard and sunk into the middle not allowing us to lay comfortably. The lady in the breakfast room didn't keep things stocked and hot. There wer
