Quality Inn & Suites Robstown

Rooms were great but don’t expect quality sleep. They blast talk show on the radio in the hall. I woke up so many times thinking we left the tv on. When asked to turn it down they say they can’t. Only the manager can adjust it but the manager isn’t in. To top it off I was trying to enjoy breakfast with my kids but had to whisk them out the door when the talk show started talking about sticking tampons in vaginas.

Where do I even begin… highly disappointed in the room considering the cost is $150 a night plus tax. Air conditioners are set where you cannot lower them past a certain point. The beds are that of a hotel 6. They tried to replace the carpet, but it didn’t do the place any justice. The breakfast consisted of a waffle maker with no batter to make a waffle. The whole place smells like fish. Appears to be long pubic hair on the sheets. Big gaps in the door so you can see outside of your room. Definitely would not recommend.

The place doesn't look bad from the outside, inside in hallways, rooms and especially stairways were really musty odor. I understand the place is 10 miles from the coast and probably a high level of humidity there, but we stayed in another motel in the area which didn't have nearly as strong of a smell. Also, couch in room was visibility dirty.

Kind of disappointed in this place. When I called the hotel the morning I was to arrive I asked the lady at the front desk if small pets were allowed. She said yes just notify the person at the front desk when you arrive. Well upon arrival the lady working the front desk told me there would be an additional 50.00 fee for the pet. So after I told her what the other lady had told me she said I’m sorry sir I cannot do anything about it. So I said can I speak to the manager she said yes. The manager (who by the way looked like a homeless person) said no that was there policy. So I said ok. My first room they gave me had 3 dead roaches on the bathroom floor. So back up to the front desk I go. The lady acted surprised to hear about the roach issue. Nonetheless gave me another room which wreaked

1. Front Attendant did not work with me to get a downstairs room. 2. Was given a upstairs room no toilet paper and soap in room. 3. When we left the room, the door would not lock. Had to change room again upstairs. Was completely unsatisfied with this hotel. I would never recommend it.
