Days Inn by Wyndham Robstown

This is obviously an older place but has been nicely refurbished. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was meager though. Just waffles. No eggs or sausage but was a cheaper stay than other places. Friendly staff. Very close to the highway so that was a plus.

I recently stayed here for one night as I was passing through. I was a little wary as I pulled up to the front as it's a little run down. When I went into the lobby and check in I was overwhelmed with a displeasing odor. Honestly, it was exactly what I was expecting when I drove onto the property. The gentleman that greeted me was very friendly and got me checked in very quickly. I parked my car and went into my room not expecting much. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. It was nicely decorated, very clean, large with a sofa and coffee table, desk, dresser, closet with iron and board, large mirror, complementary soap, a small fridge, coffee maker, mircowave, hot shower, comfy bed, good pillows, multichannel TV, plug by the bed and ample lighting. Overall it was a great experience. We needed a place in Robstown and this place was convenient. The pool was clean and amenities great. Ice machine was very helpful. The breakfast was limited for okay for what we paid. Overall, I enjoyed the stay here.

Clean comfortable rooms. Ray at the front desk did a great job getting Us in.

Well, to start off the ac unit was off when I walked in the room, it was really hot. Checked-in around 4 and turned on the ac unit, hoping that it would cool down. Didn't get back until around 10 pm, it cooled down but I lowered ac down to 68, it should have been colder. When to the bathroom, and as soon as I turn on the lights, the german roaches started scattering, It was at least 5 that I saw. The toilet had very low water pressure when flushing, And I couldn't go to sleep, the temperature never cooled down to 68, I was also worried about the roaches, crawling into my bag. Hotel has potential, just need to work on those issues to get better reviews.
