Quality Inn & Suites New Hartford - Utica

Overall, staff are very friendly and responsive. We have stayed here 3 different times in recent weeks and for the price, it is definitely a win! However, do not be surprised if the room needs some minor fixes (such as an outlet not working or a bulb not working). All in all, it still was a good place to stay.

My stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful! From the moment I arrived, the front desk associate greeted me warmly and made check-in quick and effortless. They were incredibly helpful, answering all my questions and even offering great local recommendations. Their professionalism and friendliness truly set the tone for my visit. The room was spotless, clean and comfortable, from fresh towels to perfectly arranged amenities and it made my stay feel comfortable and cared for. They went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed and even followed up to check if my stay was going well.

the sheets were stained and the room smelled like cigarettes. the guy that checked us in was SO rude. we got charged twice. booked at discount rate only to be charged the full price. Do not stay here.

Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else but here. The second you walk in, it smells like old cigarettes despite being smoke free. I also got a one bedroom suite to get some privacy from my toddler I was traveling with. Well guess what, there are no doors! You would think you wouldn't have to ask if a suite came with a freaking door! I should have just paid for a regular room instead of wasting my money to just sit in the dark anyways. The tub then took 20 minutes to drain and the rooms are horribly outdated as well. Never again will I stay here. Those at the desk don't care either so don't bother speaking with them for any issues. So do yourself a favor, and go elsewhere, seriously. Lesson learned for when I'm back in the area.

Decent hotel. Key word: Decent. Good enough if you are traveling for a quick night. You will find hair or two on your clean towels, in the tub, maybe even on the bed. Room wasn’t dirty, but it wasn’t necessarily clean. Bathroom mirror was nice and updated. Heard someone complaining to front desk about mice, but I did not experience it myself. Breakfast was the usual powder eggs and heated frozen sausage, waffle maker etc. Everything as expected for a 1 star hotel in the middle of New York State.
