Quality Inn & Suites Mount Vernon

Great stay for the price. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a quick stop-good bed, hot shower, and a solid TV/fridge setup. Staff at the front desk were friendly and easy to talk to, which made check-in smooth. The property is right off the interstate, so getting in and out was simple, and it was quiet enough at night to actually rest. For an affordable stay that's clean, convenient, and welcoming, this place does exactly what you need. Would gladly book again.

At first I thought old motel no problems, it looked clean enough and staff was nice & friendly, so lets book it. Once we were in room 123 my thoughts changed. As I got ready the first morning I noticed very small blood spots on the wall next to the sink. The AC caused an excessive amount of moisture in the room. We tried to set it to the "dry" cycle on the unit but it was still horrible by the end of our 4 day stay. The beds were horrible with a caved in place on each of them where guests had sat for years and the mattresses never being turned, flipped or changed. We tried sleeping on the other side of the beds but that wasn't really an answer either. There was no light bulb in the desk lamp. The sheers were shredded to the point of not being useful. Positive: The night staff easy check in helped me out. Negative: Rooms are outdated uncomfortable bedding. Breakfast was not the best very limited there was only 1 sausage link for me and we ate at 8am

To be blunt, this hotel was not well maintained or clean. Hallway and room smelled like stale smoke (despite being “smoke free” and cat urine. The drop ceiling in the bathroom was hanging down. Stains on ceiling. Found mouse poop behind the bed when I was getting my cat in the am. Would not recommend. Only reason I gave two stars instead of one is because they are pet-friendly and the receptionist at check-in was nice. ***UPDATE*** The hotel did reach out and worked with me to make the situation right. Upgrading to 3 stars for same.

Ac went out of my semi so I booked a room over here and I’m more than satisfied! The front desk lady is probably one of the most pleasant people I’ve ever encountered! Thank you!
