Quality Inn & Suites Menomonie

My rating for is specific to this hotel. We typically have okay experiences at Quality Hotels. We were using the pull-out couch and on check in specifically asked about bedding. We were assured all bedding was in the room. Once getting to the room, there was a pillow but nothing else. We purposely stay at Quality Inn's for the hot breakfasts, and this was by far the worst we have ever had. Some of the sausages were so hard they were inedible. The juice machine wasn't calibrated properly so the juice was mostly water. The muffins seemed to be a week old as they were completely dried out. The re-hydrated eggs flavorless, watery, and mostly inedible. Yogurt always seems to be available at the Quality breakfasts, but this hotel had none. Our expectations aren't exceptionally high when staying

**** Gave the hotel another chance to redeem themselves. The room was clean, i had a issue with the dryer not drying. After 4 tried they offered to put the kaundry in the big commercial dryer. Over all a good stay, the breakfast could still use some work. **** I was quoted one price on the phone, and when I went inside to pay they quoted me a price that was $40 higher. The water in the shower did not get hot, water in sink was hotter. Was told someone would come look at it and never did. The room was dusty, lamp shade had cuts in it, paint on walls and ceilings were not the same. No exercise room as shown on the amenities. Breakfast was not all that great.

We enjoyed our wedding anniversary getaway. Yes, the hotel is a bit dated, but everything was clean. The jets in our jacuzzi didn’t work, but we found at checkout that the dial by the headboard is there to run the jets on timer. Just a tip for anyone else! A simple placard by the tub could take care of this confusion. Breakfast was delicious sausage link and scrambled eggs. Waffles, yogurt, and variety of breads to toast, cold cereal, coffee, juice, etc. A well rounded meal.

False advertising on the room I reserved . Website showed a jacuzzi suite, which is what I wanted as this was a birthday/anniversary trip. The desk clerk told me the pool and hot tub were open until 9:30 yet the room was pitch black. Would’ve stayed somewhere else if I would’ve known. Oh, check the windows also… ours had mold growing where the windows use to slide. The parking lot is a law suit waiting to happen, good 4 inches of ice caked down.

Positive: "" Negative: The hallways, paint and breakfast room was very unkempt. Paint cracked and peeling everywhere. The breakfast room was very dirty. The outside of the hotel was not welcoming at all. Very dirty, no landscaping and exterior of building was terrible
