Quality Inn & Suites Lawrenceburg

I read the reviews a day before coming and they made me anxious , after staying though, here’s my review It might be slightly outdated but it’s also in bfe southern Indiana, our room was clean, our shower was hot, the room did get a little stuffy overnight but that’s whatever, clean pool, saw no bugs, stocked room with toiletries. Location is convenient, lawrenceburg itself is super cute hot breakfast, I paid 79 for a night so you won’t see me complaining, would have got a 5th star had there been a hot tub lol

Arrived around 6pm for a 1 nite stay after a day of skiing, entered the lobby to check-in and found it dimly lit and no front desk attendant. We called the hotel from the lobby and freely wandered around up and down the hallways looking for someone to check us in. (I did have a reservation). Waited for roughly 10 mins in the lobby while looking for another hotel nearby to accommodate us, until finally a receptionist showed up. I told her that we had been waiting and wandering around looking for someone for at least 10 minutes and instead of a polite apology she basically called me a liar, telling me that she had not been gone from the desk that long. She WAS! Had I not been tired and cold, and had we been in an area that had more hotel options close by, I would have left, but checked into

Dated but clean, very good service, breakfast was good too, overall pretty good, no hot tub with the pool, but did have rooms that had hot tubs! Definitely would go back if in the Area. Location is good, close to both creation muesium and The Ark.

The hotel was run down and dirty. Hallways smelled of cigarette smoke. Trash from previous guests was still in the fridge and dirt/dust on the dresser so thick we wrote “wash me” in it. Bathrooms had bugs and curtains would fall off the track if touched. Lobby had old furniture stacked against the walls with caution tape around it and side door had the same bag of trash next to it the entirety of our stay. But the front desk lady was nice at check in and that’s the it reason your establishment received any stars

I stayed in the room with the kitchen in it. One of the burners did not work at all, while the other burners were poorly maintained and heated unevenly. There was not a reasonably sized trash can for even one day of cooking food in the room. A bathroom sized trash can is not suitable at all for a kitchen. Our bed or the bed frame was clearly in desperate need of replacement. The whole thing creaked and buckled excessively just from being sat on. During Sunday, before check out time, some of the staff knocked once on our door then entered the room without announcing themselves. They asked if we were staying or checking out and did not apologize for just walking in on us. This was well before the required check out time for the room and was extremely inappropriate for any staff, but especi
