Hollywood Hotel

The rooms weren't terrible. I'm glad it had a mini fridge, most casino hotels don't have them. The hotel itself is kept up. The hotel and room were better than Luxor Las Vegas. The staff was all pleasant. Thank you, Carli! However, THE TRAIN! I didn't realize it's directly next to a very active train track. It woke us up multiple times throughout the night, and we could feel the vibration while laying in bed. At no fault of the hotel, though.

The hotel is right next to the train tracks, and last night 2 trains woke me up with their horns, and the trains shook the whole hotel room. Sheets aren’t clean, and the floor looks like it’s never been vacuumed or swept. Wouldn’t recommend.

Don’t stay $95room rate for 2 rooms & 2 nights. Was over $600. Billed separately should have got receipt when checking out. Their explanation was vague and added more confusion. Will never stay or visit again.

Room wreaked of smoke. I couldn’t switch to a non smoking room due to maximum occupant. My AC unit needs to be cleaned in a serious way (picture attached). I got charged “amenities” which includes lotion, coffee pods (which I don’t use), & make up remover wipe (also don’t use). I travel a lot for work, these things aren’t ever itemized. Super scummy and petty. No gym available. I paid over $500 for a two night stay. Definitely not worth the price even at half this rate. I recommend you find literally any other hotel in the area or try an AirBnB.

The AC/heat unit is very loud. To keep the room at a set temperature, the AC unit kicks in and shuts off periodically. Whenever it kicks in, I get waken up by the noise. I ended up turning off the heat for the second half of the night. It is quite uncomfortable when you get waken up every half an hour. I think it feels worse than not going to bed at all. The bed and pillows are very comfortable and the room looks nice though. It'd be a nice place to stay at if they get the AC units quieter.
