Quality Inn Harrison North

Worst stay in a long time. I accidentally booked this, and meant to go Hampton Inn. Well, the hallway is essentially an ashtray - smells like a 90s bowling alley. You'll be standing in two inches of water in the shower that drains at quarter speed, spits out half the water straight down into the tub cause the tub faucet valve doesn't work and the shower water only gets warm, never hot even if you go all the way hot. Of course, I didn't even risk getting the breakfast since I'm not insane. I will remove this review if my room is refunded or discounted significantly. This place should shut down or at least cut their price in half.

The stay was nice and everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The only thing that was an issue was that when out in the hallway on the second floor, there was a very strong cigarette smoke smell. Thankfully, it was not noticeable while in the room.

Only three stars due to the fact that the website doesn’t state that THERE IS NO ELEVATOR at this property. We had someone in our party who has mobility issues and stairs are difficult for this person. We asked at check-in if we could move to a bottom floor, but the hotel was at capacity and they did not have a bottom floor room available that they could move us to. The attendant at check-in was super kind and did move us to the room closest to the stairwell on the second floor so that the walk down the hall would be as little as possible once we made it to the top of the stairs - zero frustration at that person at all. Everything was great. I was warned that I had booked a smoking room but was able to check into a non smoking room which I greatly appreciated. Everything was clean and comfortable. I would have loved to sleep in but I had to be on the road at 5 AM.

5 is not a 5 for most people. I was completely satisfied. It was clean, 4 sets of towels, plentiful 120v outlets and USB outlets. Lighting was OK. Food nearby. Refrigerator is small and no freeze compartment. However, I turned turned it down low, Froze some stuff. Shower was OK. There were 2 bars of soap. So many have went to those dispensers mounted on the wall. I do not like those with shower gel. Usually the smell irritates my breathing. This was a plus for me. Friendly staff. Easy ck in. One door opens to the parking lot and a back door opens to the hallway. I liked that. Good beds. The chair had a good reading light by it.
