Quality Inn

This was one of the worst hotel experiences of my life, and I stay in a LOT of hotels. I choose choice because they are usually safe and clean. This hotel is NEITHER. We arrived to carpet in the outdoors that was duct taped down in multiple places and the inviting looking pool was empty and dirty. There were homeless people in it smoking. The front desk has a sign that you need a $100 CASH deposit if you are paying cash or if you are a local. Well right there, I didn't even want to stay in the town. The room was filthy. I mean filthy. My husband went to the OPEN janitors closet and got sheets to put over EVERYTHING because the bed sheets had stains and hairs and I mean a LOT of them, the pillows were disgusting. The bathroom smelled strong of urine, there was only one very thin blanket, the 3 pillows were wrinkled and stunk of BO, not enough towels, coffee was very weak-tasted like hot water. Flavored creamer could also be offered. Also, I didn't feel entirely safe. Saw some questionable looking men outside, several times, while staying there the 2 days. The staff was just ok. The marketing information said 24 hour desk service, but it was often deserted. The biggest positive was the waffle! It was great!! I also enjoyed the oranges, but thought the breakfast could have used more fruit: bananas, apples maybe? Even some pastries would be good. Perhaps some plain instant oatmeal, or grits packets? The first day there were 3 sugary fake strawberry oatmeal packets, the next day none at all. More h

Run down hotel. Room poor amenities, shower rod bent downward causing curtain both ends to collapse in middle exposing water to floor so had to hold curtain against wall with one hand. Bad drywall patch jobs in room. Noisy with people adjoining rooms looking like halfway house for homeless. Poor breakfast quality. No quality and worse hotel staying with choice hotels. Terrible place for gold member to pay to stay. Not worth the value.

I stayed at this hotel recently, and while it was okay, it didn’t quite meet my expectations. The staff was polite but not very attentive, and check-in was somewhat slow. The room was small, basic, and showed signs of wear, with limited amenities. The view was nothing special, and the facilities were quite limited—there was a small spa area and a restaurant, but both were average at best. The location was convenient enough, but it lacked nearby attractions or vibrant surroundings. Overall, it was a typical budget option. If you’re looking for a simple place to sleep without high expectations, it might work. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for a more comfortable or enjoyable stay.

Carpets were extremely dirty, furniture was badly worn down (black leather chair was missing the whole top layer), tv had a blue hue tint on every channel, the heater/ac unit would only go on full hot or full cold (extremes of both and wouldn't regulate any sort of medium temperature), and the sink was clogged after brushing my teeth. Positive note, the bed was good and the check-in staff memeber was a pleasant person to check-in with. I guess this is what I get for paying a 1/3 of the cost for a Marriot hotel.
