Quality Inn Fayetteville near Historic Downtown Square

Decent looking hotel. Small parking lot. Slightly hard to access due to the one way streets. Hot shower. I had a reservation for several nights and as I've done several times before at other hotels, I planned to drive down and check in about 5 or 6am then be at work from 7am til 12ish. When I arrived the hotel had cancelled my reservation due to no show. I arrived at 6:40am.. Choice hotels has a Guarantee Policy and it states "Your room will be held until 7:00am the morning following your scheduled arrival date." After 7am your a no show. I'm already a platinum level member with 20 nights and its only February plus I use a corporate ID #, book my rooms under a corporate rate, and said corporations name is shown on my hotel profile. I stay at this hotel 2-3 times a year. Each time it gets worse. the hot water was/is a huge issue. When the hot water tap is turned on, 10 to 15 minutes go buy by before the water is hot enough to take a shower comfortably. The ownership of this hotel should be ashamed of themselves. The building seems to get worse every year. The employees at the front desk deliver the BEST customer service.

I would never recommend this hotel. Check in and staff were fine. We get to our room and it's facing the square. Super super loud. Glad we had a white noise maker but it was still not sufficient for the street noise. The beds were comfortable but that's all I can say good about the room. The bathroom was disgusting. Shower did not drain. Yuck! Shower curtain would not stay closed. It kept falling to the center of the rod making it impossible to keep the jet stream water from escaping. Toilet paper roll was not changed to a new one. Lightbulb out. Hook on back of door had fallen off. Checked out the next day and loaded up car and noticed people smoking weed in a car near us. Couldn't wait to leave and never come back.

Housekeeping refused to come in my room to replace my towels and trash. Basically required me to bring her the dirty towels and trash while giving me bags to replace the trash. For someone who travels for work I think that's completely unacceptable. I've never had anyone ask me to do that at a hotel before. Front desk tends to talk to you like you're bothering them. Yall literally work in hospitality. I'm not responsible for housekeeping being short staffed. I didn't even ask for full service. I think having the trash replaced and towels replenished at minimum for a guest staying at your hotel for 6 days is more than reasonable. I hate to even write this review because I haven't had that many bad stays here. My last stay was 12/13 and it was horrible. I stayed in Room 114. The microwave and refrigerator was dirty and had hair in it. One of the bedsheets had a spot that looked like blood on it. There was a roach in the bathroom all night. When I went in the bathroom in the morning, it was still there. I took pictures of everything and submitted them to the email that the front desk associate told me to. I spoke with two different managers and both promised to call me back. I haven't heard anything since. When I called today which is the 17th, I'm pretty sure they told the front desk associate to tell me that they were not there. This is unacceptable.
