Quality Inn Daytona Beach Oceanfront

1. We paid extra for an ocean view. They put us on first floor with pool view. No ocean. 2. Our bathroom door was so hard to open you would have to body slam into it to open it. (Room 129) 3. The shower was dirty. Had white powder all over it - looked like bird poop. 4. Tv was not working properly. Most channels didn’t come in clearly. 5. Toilet seat wasn’t on properly so you always felt as you were falling off. 6. How water sucked. Luke warm at best. 7. At check out when dropping off key person at desk didn’t say a word even though my husband tried to talk to her.

The only good thing about this hotel is the access of the beach. I was literally fighting with roaches and ants my entire stay here. It was so bad to the point where I had a few critters in my suitcase. The room had a funky smell. The bathroom ceiling had mold on it. The plugs on the wall didn’t have a wall plate. The carpet had old stains on them. I wish I was exaggerating. I ended my stay early and drove back home in the middle of the night. I’d literally sleep in my car before coming back here. The front desk was the only good experience I had here

Positive: The views were great. Easy access to the beach. The staff was good. Negative: The building is too old not well maintained.

Hands down the grossest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I understand if things are simply dated, but that isn’t the case here. Floors wet with no signs in hall, elevator scary and with an expired inspection tag. The room itself was damp, baseboards pulled back in spots, curtain off track, security chain broken, alarm clock broken, shower low pressure/not able to fully switch between bath and shower. Hallways very loud, heard every little thing. The front desk staff was very nice.

Dear Quality Inn Management Team, I am writing to formally express a concern regarding my recent stay at your Daytona Beach location from December 31, 2025 to January 1, 2026. Unfortunately, during our stay we encountered roaches in our room, which was extremely unsettling and made us very uncomfortable. This was not the level of cleanliness or accommodation we expected, especially for a New Year’s stay. When this issue occurred, we were informed that the hotel was fully booked and that another room was not available. Because of this, we had no option to move to a different room or otherwise resolve the issue, which significantly impacted our ability to enjoy and feel comfortable during our stay.
