Quality Inn Creekside - Downtown Gatlinburg

Broken elevator for the guests staying on the upper level. 100 yard climb and a block from the lobby. The shower did not function. Of the 4 lights in the room 2 of them did not work. The passkey quit working halfway through our stay and as always at a very inconvenient time. again walking up and down that cliff. the attendant was very unprofessional and borderline rude. this will probably be my last stay with this establishment. looks like whoever is in charge is running it in the ground and leaving. we spent to much money on this stay for the crappy facilities we had to inhabit. we have stayed here on and off for 15 years. it has really gone downhill.

We were given room 104 which is right next to the laundry room. The lady who checked us in was rude and said to ask the front desk the next morning if we wanted to change. There were plenty of other rooms available so why put us in possibly the worst room. We decided it would be ok to stay since we already had unpacked the car when we asked the next day. The other staff were great. The tv was a challenge, you had to sign in each day instead of it going straight to programming. We were there 4 days, not once did we have a warm shower. The housekeeping staff had to get thier carts out each morning from the laundry room so that was very loud too. The room needs painted, the curtains were torn by it looked like a dog had ripped them. Dear Hotel Management, As a frequent and loyal guest of your establishment, I am writing to express my significant disappointment regarding an aspect of my recent stay. Historically, I have consistently found your property to be a commendable choice for accommodation. My most recent visit was for a single night on December 30th, 2025. While I fully understand and accept the premium rate associated with this particular time of year, which was notably higher than what I typically pay, I naturally anticipated that the usual high standards of service would be maintained. This hotel gave us mixed feelings. The bedroom section itself was very clean and comfortable. We loved the fireplace and balcony. The bathroom was not enjoyable. The lights, floors and walls needed washing. This place could be so nice with a good wipe down and a coat of paint. It sounded like there was dripping water in the walls Everytime we flushed.... The areas outside were pretty dirty too. Then this morning the breakfast was fantastic. The dog are was nice as well. Mixed feelings in general. Very congested area but affordable for the location too. Thank you

My friends and family stay at this hotel every time we come to Gatlinburg. It is definitely dated, but we love the location, they have great coffee in the lobby, and the area feels safe. Our only complaint is that the rooms need to be cleaned a little better - my husband and I stayed in this exact room a couple months ago and told the front desk about a dead stinkbug in the cobwebs above the mirror...that stinkbug is STILL there when my BFF and I returned for our 'mom-cation'. We have named him Fred and give him makeup advice while we get ready to go out, but we feel he should probably move towards the light at this point and go to a better place.
