Quality Inn Bolingbrook I-55

Honestly I hate to write a bad review but it definitely should be known that there is about one competent person who works at the front desk of this hotel. (Very sweet woman with curly hair) However, upon my check in on February 5th I came in to a very cold welcome by the other woman at the front desk that night. i understand its late and she might be tired but her service was awful (speaking from someone who also works customer service and at a hotel, fix your attitude.) not only that but the suite that I booked had dirty sheets almost looking like blood on them and when I asked for help with the jacuzzi in the room even the staff didn’t know how to operate it. Positive: The location. Beds were comfortable Negative: The curtains in our room were ripped and stained. They wouldn't let our grandkids use the pool. Breakfast selection very poor.

Now that the hotel is managed by those from India we were amazed that we walked in this year and there were no signs of Christmas not even a Christmas tree. I understand that we all have different beliefs, and I do not criticize the fact that they have a different belief than I do. What I do criticize is that it is a public establishment that we are paying money for and the hotels should recognize that they will have all types of guests that do not share their faith. In addition while the room was clean and well decorated the telephone did not work at all and the outlet by the bathroom sink worked only on the bottom outlet. Location was good, hotel was quiet, my room (109) was good and clean. My main and only reason for leaving a 3 star review, is the extremely high security deposit. I got there late around 11:15pm on 2/11 after long day of traveling from out of state. Had booked room through Priceline for $92 which went smooth. The lady at the front desk who was very nice thought I needed a room and said it would be $175. I told her I booked online etc, she tells me they do have said a $100 “refundable” security deposit. There is a sign posted about the deposit, so they must get common complaints and questions about the said deposit. We asked if we could do cash, but she-said they can’t take cash at night(?), and it was card only. I’ve NEVER heard of a deposit that high. I do understand the point of the depo

This is an absolute dump !!!! It's like staying at a homeless shelter. The breakfast is also absolute garbage, a chest full of old stale cakes and watered down coffee. The rooms a full of pests.... Roaches, spider's and others I couldn't quite identify. God.... I absolutely tried to make the best of it.... But when I had a towel with what looks like old blood stains I had to run. The staff does absolutely nothing to help. It's like they're doing you a favor letting you stay there..... I've never seen anything quite like it. For those that aren't yet convinced....... Go ahead - stay; it's the kind of thing you gotta live it to believe it!!
