Prairie View RV Park

I stayed here for 4 months while travel nursing. It’s a nice, clean, and quiet spot. The owner and folks that take care of the place are very nice and helpful. The lake is close by and a few restaurants in the area. Definitely would stay here again. As I was leaving, they were putting in additional amenities. Overall a great value. When I left, it was like leaving friends.

Full disclosure we own the park. Just bought during season last year. It’s really new and ready to go as we are working on improving every thing we can. We have been working on upgrades and will continue for several years. Currently we are building high quality custom heavy duty 8 foot picnic tables. First deliveries soon. We will be adding custom Flameless fire pits as the fire marshal has approved our plans recently. Several privacy fences are in the works as well. Previously we have added Wi-Fi to the property but have found a fault in the electrical and we need to raise the antenna so it’s been a little glitchy. Parts are in and we are on it. Biggest negative has to be the stickers. We have new equipment to help. Fertilizer has Ben applied and we plan on getting this under control. I

We camped at Prairie View RV park and had a great time. Super close to the beaches at Lake McConaughy and right next to the gas station and a restaurant & bar. The full hookups and strong wifi is always nice. There’s an ice machine just down the street as well. It was handy being able to spend the day at the beach and quickly zip up to the camp site anytime we needed. Once we got there, we didn’t have to go far for anything else.

Prairie View RV Park has great full service pull through spots with some nice amenities nearby. The park always seems to be improving and the manager Shelby seems to take care of everyone. Very close access to Lake McConaughy with affordable prices with their seasonal ratees!

Lots of work going into upgrades on this property. Great place to camp!
