We had our wedding reception at Powhatan Hall this past weekend and I cannot recommend it enough, especially for a budget wedding. We had our ceremony at Beaver Lake Overlook in the park, but had the peace of mind knowing that we could move the ceremony indoors if absolutely necessary due to weather. The hall is climate-controlled and although the air conditioning ducts can be an eyesore, we used some ceiling drapes and fairy lights to cover them! The venue provides tables and chairs in the hall, which again can be easily covered with linens to dress them up. There are private restrooms in the building and an industrial sized kitchen with an ice machine. For the cost, this venue blows other venues away and is in such a peaceful, serene location with a very rustic/barn-like vibe. I recomm

My niece had her wedding here. It was so nice!! Definitely recommended!

Employee appreciation event held there. It was roomy. Didn't take any photos. Rustic, server area. Large rectangle space. Outside congregating area.

Had a great time. Had our wedding reception here and had a blast. Acoustics were amazing for our dj
