Customer Reviews
I was exhausted and pulled off the interstate in hopes of good food and camp. Both experiences were wonderful and the lady owner from the restaurant/bar called the owner of the camp just 1/4 mile away. Quiet area with flowers blooming at the sites and clean bathrooms. Penny was a delight!
Stayed here overnight when WY DOT closed all the roads in the area. The weather in Kaycee was beautiful, the owner was friendly and welcoming - she made sure to turn the heat on in the cabin and brought us fresh towels. There were a few friendly chihuahua doggos in the office, which doubles as a quilt room. Rustic accommodations perfect for us, with a shower and toilet in cabin. Enjoyed our stay, will come back.
My friend and I originally planned to camp here in a tent, but the weather went south. Penny and her father were extremely kind and accommodating in getting us a cabin. Very reasonable prices for what you get, right near the highway but still quiet, and the nicest bathrooms of any campsite I've been to! Would definitely stay here again!
We stayed here overnight in our 40' motorhome. This was a cozy and quiet little oasis just off the highway. Easy to access and plenty of room to pull my rig into one of the gravel pull-through spots. I took a jog through town which was just lovely and the powder river is beautiful from the bridge! This was a great spot, would readily visit again. We grabbed a few fresh donuts from the Bunk House Bakery on our way out the next morning - perfect.
Just spent a month here. Very pleasant experience. They were very helpful and went out of their way to help. Very easy to get in and out. Restrooms and showers very clean. Laundry room as well. Very quiet. Penny was an angel, had no problem asking her for anything. She told me things to do in and around Kaycee. Very quiet town. The sheriff even drove through a couple times a day for security. Overall if you want to get away to a place for peace and quiet this is it. Rates reasonable for the area. Would stay again if I come back to this part of the country.
