Poudre River Resort

Enjoyed our 4 days here. So peaceful. Cabin was cute, a little small, but it did the job. Had everything we could've needed. Beautiful country & river!!

Three retired men fishing, looking for wildlife, and scenic driving. We found Archer's Cabin 5 a delightful place to stay. The workers at Archer's went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The cabin was clean, as were all the grounds, and had everything we needed. Everything worked great....small shower but lots of pressure and hot water. The beds and futon slept really nice. The roar of the river rocked us to sleep each night after a blazing fire in the well-kept fire ring. The best fire ring was right on the river but the one next to our cabin was so nice we just used it. We saw six bull moose on one evening's drive. The drive past the Crags to the town of Walden was gorgeous! Looking for a nice get away, give Archer's a try! Did I mention miles of public river and lake fishing wi

The location by the River was breathtaking. Everyone there, from the employees to other guests, were very nice. It's was quiet and peaceful. The perfect weekend getaway. We will be back for a longer stay sooner than later.

This was such a beautiful place to stay! I can’t express how much we enjoyed it. It’s like a hidden gem 💚 The hosts are so kind and helpful as well. We will be staying again!

I spent a total of three nights, two in a tent, one in a cabin. Great sleep each time, the tent is spacious and comfortable; the cabin well stocked and well equipped. The facilities are clean and still improving, we had no issue with the WiFi and truly enjoyed the pizza oven. Do make sure you stop by the airstream for coffee and snacks, or by the market that has all you might need. Note that the place's website somewhat shows no vacancies the day of. Do give them a call, they probably have rooms available.
