Went for the first time for Halloween weekends and I’ve got to say this was definitely a family trend that will continue until my kids are grown. Everyone goes above and beyond decorating their cabins, RVs and 5th wheels. Everyone has fancy golf carts (I really want to buy one exactly for this reason). The costumes were great, the atmosphere was amazing and you really don’t need to leave! With that being said I did have some minor complaints. One was the lack of recycling. Like even just the returnables. If the staff collected cans they could easily make a few hundred dollars a day. The amount of stuff that got tossed in the garbage rather than recycled made my stomach turn. Second is they need to run that train 24/7! I never saw it once and we were there for 3 nights. I love t

I’ve been a yearly camper at the Port Huron KOA for over five years, and I have never experienced such an awful stay. This trip was beyond disappointing and honestly shocking given how much I’ve always loved coming here.||The workers this year were unbelievably rude, especially Michael, who claims to be the “manager of maintenance.” We called for help because the heat in our cabin wasn’t working, and when he arrived, he immediately became hostile and yelling that we were “overworking the power” because we had the A/C plugged into the furnace from no heat (which is literally the only possible way to plug it in). He screamed at us, threw and slammed heaters inside the cabin and onto his cart outside, and even told us to “shut up and go inside” or he would force us to leave when we called him

We enjoyed our time at Port Huron KOA! The staff was friendly and the campground was clean and very well maintained. We loved the large, tree covered campsites at the east side of the park on lodge lane! Lots of room for the kids to play and plenty of shade. My only complaint was how early the golf carts needed to be returned each day, and how early the pools closed. It was also very busy on Saturday in the main part of the campground. Overall I would definitely recommend, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Love this place...I doubt this message will be seen but we go every year for the halloween weekends. We go really big with our display. This year was different with using QR codes to vote for best display. A couple problems with this... Pretty sure Halloween is for the kids...At least in my opinion halloween is for kids. But, only people with phones could vote for the best display and most kids do not have a phone. So, basically, whatever display the adults liked would get voted on...But if you asked the kids who had the best display, I would guarantee it to be a different answer... I decorate one hundred percent for the kids.. if I tailored to the adults i'd probably win more... at the end of the day it is not about winning a trophy as nice as that is after all that hard work..In the end,

Staff is helpful and friendly enough. The campground is expansive and offers nice amenities. We’ve been two years in a row and the first year I really liked it. This last time the cleanliness of common areas was lacking and at times outright disgusting. While the facility could use more dedicated staff for the community bathrooms and kitchens I look to the actual campers as the real problem when it comes to cleanliness. Simply disgusting - leaving unflushed toilets and not cleaning after yourself in the restrooms to pouring food in the community kitchen sinks that clearly have strainers over the drains to prevent food from going down thus clogging the sinks with food so they don’t drain. It was shocking and disappointing- the level of disregard people had in using the community facilities
