Baymont by Wyndham Port Huron

I have stayed in some of the best and most luxurious hotel properties in America. The Baymont by Wyndham in Port Huron ranks high in my experience. The rooms are simple, yet provide luxurious bedding and bathrooms with huge linens and free high-quality shampoo, conditioner and body wash. My hair feels incredibly shiny and full after just using the shampoo. The pool is large and inviting. One of the best amenities is the complementary breakfast. It is huge with offerings that you normally find in an upscale Sunday brunch. I can't say enough about positives about the Baymont by Wyndham in Port Huron. Big clean room. Nice pool. Wish was a hot tub by pool. And a later check out time would be nice to sleep in. Price was a little high even with senior discount. Nice staff. WiFi tv nice to have. Will visit again to add up points for more stays.

I am just checking out after two night stay. I like this hotel. Yes the rooms are dated but the price point reflects that. The rooms were clean and everything worked. Every staff member I encountered was kind and helpful. I liked the wood laminate floors, mini fridge and microwave in room. Ice machines worked. Cute breakfast, pool, little gym.

Positive: Hotel has in room jacuzzi’s. Breakfast was decent but needs to have bread available for toast. Negative: Housekeeping was dodgy. Had to ask for service and one day the room wasn’t cleaned at all!

I've lived up here for 8yrs, and I never knew it existed, bc it's pushed back a ways. Pros - Lovely swimming pool. (I didn't get in, we had room #202, with a good size balcony) AC worked great! Room had good lighting Cons - room smelled of cigarettes (really didn't bother me, but someone else might get pissed) Hallway reeked of marijuana (again, it didn't bother me, as I'm a toker myself. But I never smoke in the room. Get a weed pen people!) Although they have an ice bucket in the room, there is no ice machine. I had to ask the receptionist if they had ice. She grabbed my bucket, and left. You could hear her breaking up the ice (they only have bagged ice) Bed was OK. I know others wouldn't be happy tho. Breakfast was done at 9, on a Saturday! Usually other hotels give you a lil more time
