Service was a little slow but the waitress was very friendly. Good food choices. Fries were a little cold but I don’t care for fries anyway.

This is a review of Porky's Bar & Grill. not the lodge. I rarely post negative reviews but this experience was so bad we feel the need to warn others. Evidently they are under new ownership and needing to work out quite a few kinks. Menu: Online menu (website & Google) is not up to date so don't be fooled as we were. Boat slip menu only available (no entrees except on weekends due to lack of servers & cooks), many errors on the menu (nachos don't actually come with chicken as posted- extra $4 charge) and they were out what we tried to order off the menu - Italian sausage. Service: Only 1 server (who is also the bartender inside) & 1 cook during the week. We arrived at 5:30pm. Other outside tables had already ordered and were finishing their meals. Inside tables were unoccupied, aside

We regularly pleasure boat on the St Johns River and are always looking for new Port of calls so I thought I would check this new place out. I didn't eat there but the service was good and the place had a really nice quaint feeling to it. But the complaint I have is when I inspected the docks there was bolt heads sticking out of the upright poles and no protection on them to protect from gouging and scratching the boats. I would like to see some heavy rubber protections on these poles so we could stop in and make it one of our Port of calls.

The staff, when I had booked originally, were pleasant, nice and very helpful. When we got there, the hotel had changed owners according to the restaurant staff. Upon arrival, the rooms looked great and appeared clean. The boat ramp and slips were nice. We immediately went out for a day on the water. When we returned, the boat ramp had sewage running down from an overflowing septic tank. Getting into the hotel, we noticed the bathroom light did not work, which made it difficult to use the restroom and shower in the pitch black. We contacted staff multiple times with nothing but excuses as to why they couldn't show up to fix it. When we turned down the sheets, there were some red stains that resembled blood like the sheets had been made without changing from the previous guests. Overall, it

We used to regularly go to Idle a couple times a week. Monday for karaoke, and Friday for bingo. Were were always greeted with a smile and friendly staff. Not anymore. We visited the restaurant after we heard it had been sold to new owners and what a complete disappointment! We were told in a hurried fashion by a passing waitress, "just sit anywhere." And then proceeded to wait for service. The service was horrible, the food mediocre and they had swapped out the linen napkins for a roll of kraft paper, paper towels. The cutlery was in a paper bag like a cheap diner and the paper plates had to be from Walmart--they were cheap and thin. The prices weren't any lower for the cost-cutting measures they took which takes away completely from any enjoyment. The new karaoke people don't draw
