I just went threw a life changing experience it was me and my sister and my 2 brothers. My brother me were helping me with extra blankets due to 1. Being so cold in there and 2. It smelled so weird and gross and so uncomfortable and my brother even stated that the big mirror by the bed was Erie. And my brother came back with food in his hand and they were about to leave after we are the lady with the crazy accent came and started going absolutely crazy I keptnsayibg on my 2 people. We weren't doing anything wrong and wasn't even being loud because like I said it was already uncomfortable as it is. Yeah never again.

I had a wonderful stay at this motel for week. The property was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable and pleasant experience. The management was friendly, and always willing to help with any requests. Their dedication to keeping the place in top shape really shows. I would highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for a clean, well-managed place to stay!

I recently stayed at Poplar motel and had a very pleasant experience. The room was clean and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was particularly cozy, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always available to assist with any requests. I was impressed by how quickly they responded to my needs, whether it was extra towels or local recommendations. For the price, Poplar motel offers great value, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a budget-friendly and comfortable place to stay.

I truly think the owner is removing the bad reviews . This place is infested with bed bugs (I don’t know if it’s every room but there are multiple rooms) when brought to managements attention it was shrugged off and he claimed it wasn’t a bed bug until a picture of it was googled. Argued for over 30 minutes to get a refund even though was only there for less than an hour before the bed bug was seen and decided to leave . Several of the doors (main doors) to rooms do not lock / shut properly . Someone can still walk in even when the door is shut and locked. Lights in bathroom didn’t work and tv didn’t work either . Went to 4 different rooms and 3 had the same issue with the main door not locking and 2 had the same issue with no lighting .

It was my first time here we stayed over the weekends I loved everything about it. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, my room was very clean and smelling good, room was very clean which you don't find around here much. I rate it 5 stars because it deserves it , thank you poplar motel for the fascinating stay, I highly recommend.
