Pope's Landing Marina & RV Resort

My brother and I traveled 11 hours pulling a boat. Stayed for five days. We were very happy with the room for the money. Easy ramp access. The staff was very friendly. The fishing and weather was perfect all week. We have planned another trip in the spring. Very affordable vacation.

This is a bit dated but for the most part clean. Right near lake Fork. There was a issue with hot water. The water was room temp at best. Never turned on the cold water. Had to turn up heater in room to keep from freezing in the shower. If you are wanting to fish this is a great location. Would suggest to have some menus from local restaurants so we would of known our options. However would I come back yes only if they turn up the hot water temp.

We stayed in what's called an "interior cabin," that means its not right on the waterfront, its a few steps away. One set of my family did rent a waterfront cabin, and it was nice as well. The office is not open after 5 usually, but they have a check-in procedure if you arrive late, and it was painless. The front desk people have that southern hospitality, and seem to want to make sure you have a great stay.

Very nice rooms. Large rooms at the motel. Very clean, everything works well. Lots of parking for trucks with boats and electric plug-in outlets outside. All the necessities to enjoy a few days are here plus a friendly cat ❤️. Also, boat ramp right in front of the motel.

Reserved pet friendly room,( that was on their web site)was notified they did not have pet friendly rooms. Would not refund prepaid reservation. Did offer a pet friendly room (room7 or 8)up stairs that is not handicapped or elderly friendly that I could not safely navigate. Still have not refunded for a room I could not safely use:
