Ponderosa Motel

Good for the price! Very clean, with comfy beds. Surprisingly big accommodations, with one Queen room separate, easy check-in and parking, good location for us. [Downers? No grab bar in shower, sparse random kitchenette items, no hangers in 2nd closet, no window screen, 1970 style plug-ins for 2025 devices. Positive: easy access Negative: oven definetly needs to be cleaned...bathroom light sometimes worked...told them about it and they said it was quirky...ummm as an apartment maintnance person...fix it!! people don't like quirky electrical problems and may not be safe

First off, when we got to the room the staff was friendly and helpful. They pointed out an issue on my car that I'm well aware but have no way of fixing. Then as we were pulling up to the room the gentleman at the front kindly directed to exactly where our room was. He seemed very chill. Then we get into the room and it smells AMAZING. The sheets appeared very clean and omg if it wasn't a crime I'd steal the mattress!! Took a lil nap, very pleasant and then finished the day with a bath. Ladies when I tell you, this new momma hasn't had a good bath in months! So when I got into the tub and the water was hot right away, and changed temps exactly to my specification, and I sat down in the tub and it fit my whole body! I am in love. I am in heaven. I'm sort of in a weird difficult transition, so I'm technically an extended stay paying every week... My paycheck was shorter than I'd like it to be so I asked how many nights I could get for a certain amount. The front desk said it would be under the amount I inquired about but then asked if I would be able to survive... I said yeah I would survive and without a second thought she decided to discount it $10 dollars a night. That's HUGE for me right now. This motel has been nothing but reasonable, helpful, and authentic. The employees and manager are very personable, and obviously very human. So grateful for this place, and definitely appreciate the staff. Room is good for the price, continental breakfast, attentive staff, and no drama. Couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you!!!

The hair dryer was already half melted, handle taped together and blew sparks as soon as I turned it on. The first "non smoking room" we got absolutely smelled like a smoking room. There are no phones in the rooms to call the front desk. The beds are stiff and hard, and theres no fan in the bathroom. The only reason we decided to stay here was because the other hotel had no vacancy.
