Pocono Resort & Conference Center - POCONO MOUNTAINS

I booked a room on the 11th of January.. the most worst experience I've had booking a hotel, the minute you get to the hotel you're needing to wait outside because there is no one at the front desk. They post a note outside with a number to call to get in touch with the front desk to get in, it was cold and raining out and I had my 2 little girls with me and here it is they take their time to get to the front door to open, After taking their time opening the door your thinking that you're going to step into the lobby where it's warm but nope it was freezing no heat whatsoever. Finally got the key walked in the room and the room was very cold as well, they did not heat up the room. If I could leave zero stars, I would. RUN TO NOT WALK AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY. The pictures they are absolutely not factual and true. We Book this mostly for the pool.. upon arrival it Was dingy and dirty. We waited in the lobby for about 10 minutes. It was very clear that there was no heat on. We were freezing just waiting. We went to front desk and canceled before we even went into room and through booking. After two days, I finally got to speak to someone Because Booking.com said they needed to approve my refund. I call them to release my refund. Got into an argument with who I think is the owner. Saying they will not be giving me my money back because he doesn’t feel like there is enough justification after I thoroughly explained. Saying the property is exactly like the pictures poste

Great place to spend time with family. Anthony is very attentive and went out of his way to make our stay unforgettable. Definitely recommend!

Do not book here there was no heat in the entire building. We stayed in our room for two hours with the heat on high and it never got warm on top of that. We had brown water come out that he claimed was well water. We were very turned off and decided to ask for a refund and leave. Where he continues to tell me that we had booked through a third-party which was lie. We booked on their official page as listed below which he claimed it was a link to a third-party. His phone number and information was also listed on the charge on my husband’s account. He was obviously lying to us and refusing to give us a full refund. We also drove four hours to get here.

When we got to the Resort the parking lot was a sheet of ice. We waited 10 minutes for a person to come to the front door. For them to promptly inform us that they had canceled our reservation, without notifying us. They then refused to check a room out to us. We had to drive a little way down the interstate to find a hotel (thank you holiday inn) that was not fully booked. This may have been a blessing in disuse as my daughter found reviews of possible bed bugs, mold and structural integrity issues (ie ceiling caving in). Do yourself a favor and find another place down the way.
