Plaza Hotel & Casino

All the workers here are so hospitable and kind! The casino was clean as well and wasn't full of smokey haze like other casinos in this area. It wasn't rowdy and made for a nice hotel during a business trip. The workers are all smiles and go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable. The rooms are also surprisingly big. Shoutout to Kevin who checked me in super late at night, professional and helpful despite a long line of checkins!

pros: - good location, very close to freemont street - good variety of affordable bars and restaurants in the hotel cons: - rooms were filthy. the "deluxe king" we initially checked into had stained sheets, gross old carpets, a dresser covered in dust, and a used razor in the shower. we asked to be moved to a different room. the "luxe queen" we were moved to was a bit cleaner, the hardwood floors were less gross than the carpet, but still turned the bottoms of my socks and feet black after walking around for awhile. - room was LOUD. I expect hotels to be loud. I expect vegas to be loud. this was on a whole other level. bass from the Circa pool next door shook the walls from 9am-9pm most days, then freemont street music did the same from 9pm-2am. earplugs helped block some of the sound but

The location is great... Freemont street is our main attractions . We don't gamble much so the casinos were not our priority .Reception was great albeit people lining up to check in , they only open up one desk for reception. Gym was adequate .There's no cold water shower in our room, the option was worm and scalding hot water.No water boiler. The bathtub looks very old.The room was spacious though. But very little amenity.The belldesk is somehow helpful after asking directly for a tip. And there was no coordination between reception and bell desk although they are in one area.

I had a really good experience staying at the Plaza Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The atmosphere was fun and classic Vegas, and everything felt comfortable and easy during our stay. The hotel itself was clean, the casino was lively, and the overall vibe made it a great place to spend time.||One of the highlights of our stay was an employee named Dwayne. He was genuinely cool, friendly, and made us feel welcomed from the start. He went out of his way to be helpful and added a personal touch that really stood out. Interactions like that make a big difference and definitely elevated our experience.||Overall, I was satisfied with our stay and would recommend the Plaza to anyone looking for a solid Vegas hotel with great staff and a fun atmosphere. Wonderful stay at the Plaza! Reccommnd booking direct and using the Viva 26 package which included meal and casino credit. Great location right in the heart of downtown yet the room was very quiet, remodeled, and spacious. We loved that the pool is heated and open year round and also the pickleball courts! Very unique for a Las Vegas hotel. Great happy hour deals at Oscar's Steakhouse- next time we will stay for dinner. Amazing brunch at Hash Hpuse. We also enjoyed the Carousel Bar outside with video poker. Lastly, there is a free downtown loop shuttle that stops right outside the hotel. Easy and convenient way to explore downtown including the Arts District. Highly recommend this place and will be back soon!
