Pirate's Cove

I planned a vacation to florida from kansas and crashed my car on the way there in Arkansas. they refused to refund me stating cancelation policy MUST be applied. Guess what universal resort refunded me for each day, 4 tickets total. So they could have refunded me if they had any heart or care for their customers, stay at the sandcastle instead it’s at least got a pool and doesn’t care if you smoke.

Positive: Great location. Clean, comfortable room. Great Staff. Negative: Room/Hotel not as pictured. No balcony, no pool, no beach access. Major LOUD construction above forced me out from 8 am to 3 pm. Hotel/Room under construction - not mentioned in listing. Wil likely be a great room/hotel post construction in a few months.

5 Stars – With an Asterisk GREAT LOCATION! Can’t beat it. My room’s interior was solid—comfortable bed and bedding, plus a full kitchen stocked with utensils and essentials. The owners clearly put thought into making sure everything you might need is in the unit. Now, the negatives: I booked through Priceline. While the interior was great, it was not the room pictured. The balcony door was nailed shut, and the balcony itself was under construction. Loud construction above my room ran daily from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., forcing me to leave because of the noise. There was no pool and no beach access (you can walk down the ramp next to the building, though). None of this was disclosed in the Priceline listing or confirmation text that was sent by the owners/staff. I still give 5 stars because onc

The pros there was wifi and the lazy pirate bar and grill was great. The room didn't have towels, toilet paper ,cups for the coffee , one of the beds didn't have a sheet. ||Called to let front desk know they apologized. Someone brought two towels and a rag and said that's all she had we'd have to go to the front desk to get everything else. ||So we did. After our stay we really contemplated if the room had been cleaned at all. It seems like there are alot of permanent guests that live on site as well as workers. Strange place. Wouldn't recommend at all.

No breakfast,no pool,no hot tub under construction only seen 2 different people working in 2 days for whole time here. Booking.com must not have known 🙄
