Pioneer Motel

Very clean rooms , flat screen TV , mini fridge , microwave, very clean bathrooms,air conditioning,very friendly staff,Great location I highly recommend staying here.

This was a really cute motel. I counted 10 rooms total, which is a good number. Not so many that you can’t get help when you need it, but enough that you feel like there are people around for safety. I got there in the evening and had called ahead of time so they didn’t give my room away. They were very nice and were ready for me when I arrived. The town is very small; it only has 2 gas stations. One at each end of the town. They also had one small convenience store that has really cute souvenirs and last-minute necessities. They had a few freshly cooked items, including potato wedges which were very good. The motel was old, but seemed to be well kept. The room was very clean and tidy. I felt very safe there. It is right off the main highway, so you hear cars and trucks often. Even though

Been in 3 rooms. One of them (29) had a small gap in the doorframe, and that's probably what made it cold in the winter. Otherwise, they're fairly clean, warm, they all had microwaves and TVs which are dated. The furniture/decor in the 3 rooms are not uniform. Friendly owners. No critters that I noticed; I've left food out overnight and nothing has touched it. Overall decent stay for a motel.

Not the hugest fan of Pioneer Motel, which is rated relatively lowly for a reason. We came here on a cross-country debate trip while I was in school and I am writing a review belatedly. Our folks did not feel that this location had the same quality as standard Motels that we stayed at of similar quality in other parts of the country. We felt that Pioneer Motel needed to do much better
