Pink Motel

I don’t remember why I pulled off the highway. Maybe it was the neon sign pulsing through the dark like a heartbeat, or maybe it was the way my GPS kept repeating — almost pleading — “Recalculating… TURN RIGHT.” The Pink Motel sits at the edge of nowhere, the kind of place you think doesn’t exist anymore except in old postcards and nightmares. The stucco walls are faded bubblegum pink, peeling like sunburn, and the palm trees out front are too tall — unnaturally tall — as if they grew while waiting. The lobby door creaked open before I touched it. The man behind the counter had a smile that looked printed on, like it had been worn too many times. No name tag, no welcome, just a single sentence delivered softly, like déjà vu whispered in my ear: > “We’ve been expecting you.” He handed

Awesome and amazing place,when people do have a bad experience is because there on my property illegally, we are not open to the public,PRIVATE PROPERTY, we our just a MOVIE SET,you have to make an appointment to be on our property.and sign a release to take pictures or film on my property

Was there six months visiting, loved the place. And for some of the people that commented saying you can't take pictures, yes you can take pictures ask them and they will let you they were doing a tv scene and I simply asked and the film guy on the set said to me no problem take some pictures so I was able to. If you ask them they will let you!
