This campground was better than billed. The road is newly paved. 5 min walk to a gorgeous mountain lake. Lots of shade . Vault toilets that are actually cleaned twice daily. The staff was very nice and helpful. Quiet and beautiful.

During September, this place is very quiet. The lake is about a 15-minute walk with easy places to fish. The rainbow trout was bigger than most lakes we'll been to, and it took 2 hours to catch 7 of them. We released them back into the lake, and no fish was harmed. The camp site was very large as we booked a group site. The bathroom was a single built-in port-a-potty. There is an on-site water spicket. The mornings you may see cattle passing through your site.

We were lucky one weekend and barely anybody was at the campground. Lots of fun streams/creeks for kids to play in. 5 year old enjoyed frog hunting. They like to hang out at the banks of the lake and then jump in. Easy to miss if you don’t look closely. They also hang out under the bridge. We went mid August and the weather was perfect. Some sprinkling. Not super hot. Campsites are spacious. Great in comparison to the northern campsites that are sooooo crowded. Beautiful wildflowers and herb like smells around the lake to explore and enjoy. Fishing is a bit difficult in the shallow areas because of all the grass. Could be difficult from shore. Good fishing in the deeper area with a kayak. We trolled around with a lure and that’s how we got our fish. My 5 year old caught his biggest fish! T

We had a great half-day here just relaxing at the lake. "Beach" is hard to find but there is sand by the campground or at the far end of the dam.

We were the last ones to leave for the 2022 season and the only ones staying in the park the last night. We stayed five nights and none of the nights were busy so it was mostly always super quiet. The host seemed to keep the place super clean at all times. We didn’t use the bathrooms but upon a quick peak in they looked pristine as well. The wood bundles were among the largest we’ve seen in all of Utah for the same price of $8. Lake is close by with easy rainbow fishing. ATV trail close by. People complain about the road in but it wasn’t terrible. Yes, a bit of washboard, but a sweet spot not too fast nor not too slow made it easy travels even towing a fifth wheel.
