Otter Creek Campground

Nice. Well maintained and clean! Restrooms and showers. Beautiful surroundings, Small and quiet. This was one of our favorite stopovers. We wished we had more time there! There were nicely shaded sites too.

Great place to camp. Showers and bathrooms are very clean, and showers have super hot water. There is plenty of room for tent camping and RV camping. The only downside is that the "check-in" has odd hours, so if you need ice or firewood, you are better off bringing your own. There is a kiosk that you can check in on if no one is at the check-in area. There is a general store/cafe that is offsite, but they have odd hours as well. There are plumping bathrooms as well as vault toilets. Tent sites have running water as well. The tent sites are close together. There is also 2 cabins for rent as well.

Really pretty area but there is no shade ...there are only trees where the RVs sites are I mean really no shade no trees????? Camping to me is where you can just relax and sit back. Can't really do that here .Camp sites are squeezed together . The fire pits differ from site to site . Some are shallow and some are deep The lake is very nice . The boat ramp is good. Not bad for fishing The bathroom and shower area very nice . The beach area was pretty good . The pictures do show some trees but they are along the fence line behind the tent area.

I do enjoy going to otter creek. Fishing is usually fairly good. Camp host are very friendly. Most campsites are very shady but not exactly level. Not a big deal though. Boat rentals are reasonable too. Just don't expect cell service.

Otter Creek was everything and more! Lakefront camping with electricity and water hookups. Can't wait to camp there again!
