This site includes a shade structure, fire pit, and bear box. The site is very flat and includes good space for 2 vehicles and flat areas for tent campers. This is a decent option if you're looking for seclusion and privacy and Pila Montoya 3 is already booked. It does require high-clearance vehicle but likely do not need 4wd unless muddy or slippery. Note the trail begins to get very narrow past Pila Montoya 1 so wider vehicles may get scratches due to sharp vegetation that is close to the trail.
