Pier Watch Villas

Some condos are ocean front, and others are across the street. It's a really nice section of the beach. Cherry Grove Pier is right there beside it. We stayed in a 6 bedroom, 5 bath condo. 2 BR downstairs and 4 up. Very nice. I'm not sure if all units are through the same rental company, but we used Rental Leaf. Nice long balcony on both floors. Great ocean, pier, and beach view. Covered parking. Easy to get around. Very residential area but close to restaurants and shopping.

Pier Villas I 104|Location and views from the balcony are wonderful. Kids loved the pool table.pool was clean and not crowded. ||Now for the facts. This is wayyyyy over priced. I spent the first day of our trip doing a deep clean of the condo. Finger prints on appliances and crumbs on the counters tell me nothing was cleaned. I will attach a picture of the bag of dirt and dust that I swept up off of the carpeted stairs. Toilet bowls were cleaned but around the base of the toilets was disgusting. The rest of the house was the same. TVs in rooms don’t work, dishwasher is broken, MB jacuzzi tub doesn’t work because the handle to the tub isn’t attached. Also in the kitchen we bought food to cook dinner and there was no mixing bowls, no tongs, no serving dishes, no Tupperware or anything that

Cherry Grove used to be a great place. Our last visit was while the pier was being rebuilt and it was fantastic. When we got here this time people were smoking marijuana in the parking lot and playing loud music that we could hear on the 4th floor. Several motorcycles also did donuts in the street. Police were everywhere. Frequent patrols on the beach and deputies were stationed at cash registers at some of the souvenir stores. Food was still great and locals were still very friendly.

Very modern units that are comfortable and conveniently located in North Myrtle Beach. The only downside was the lack of supplies provided. Considering the price we paid I don’t think TP, dish soap, and paper towel is too much to ask for. Even a heads up that those items were not provided would have been very helpful for planning purposes.

This review is about Pier Watch Villas 1 unit 102. If you are thinking of renting this unit... Don't. The pictures make it look way nicer than it actually is. We had so many issues. Every day was something new. Upon arrival, the front door was all dirty, there was a square hole cut in the window screen, which was bent. Walked in to sand, potato chips and crumbs left all over the place. All over floors, counters, dining table, couches, carpeted steps had sand and crumbs all over. We used a very old, beat up vacuum to clean what we could. We had to clean our own unit. Great way to start vacation. Then one of the bedrooms shower door almost fell off. Elliott fixed the problem the next morning. Our wifi stopped working and we were told by Elliott that they contacted the owners who said the HO
