Pickwick Cabin Rentals

While booking and communicating with Beverly was easy, that and the view are the only positive things I can say about the 4 bedroom house we rented - Pier Paradise. Upon initial arrival, we discovered that the house had not been cleaned as there were dirty towels left from workers, spiders and cob webs all over the entire house. Beverly did send the cleaning lady over the next morning who did dust and knock down as many of the cobwebs she could see, many still remained. The cleaning lady did comment how she did not leave the house as we showed her and was apologetic, but there are 2 issues with this: 1. If the owner is letting workers use the house, it should be cleaned prior to a rental and when they are done working. 2. Even if the cleaners came after the workers, the amount of cobwebs a

We had a beach vacation planned that was cut short due to Tropical Storm Debby, so our family decided to visit Shiloh Battlefield instead of heading home to Ohio. On our drive, I found Pickwick Cabin Rentals online, texted Beverly, and we were in their Anchor Away cabin within the hour for a 2 night stay. Beverly was so friendly and easy to work with. The cabin was just what we were looking for! Reasonably priced and just enough space for our family of 5 (teen and up) to spread out. My hubby and I enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the evenings after dinner while the kids watched TV inside. Our family even walked down to Dock's for pizza and drinks one night. I would definitely recommend to others. Thank you!

Beverly does an excellent job. The cabin we had booked was having some AC issues, and she had it handled ASAP every time I contacted her. The issue persisted, and Beverly got us moved into a different location just hours after I asked. Both houses were clean, well kept, and beautifully decorated!

I rented one their cabins because we had a project to do in the pickwick area. I had a hard time getting the cabin booked in the first place with playing phone tag back and forth. The cabin was clean when we arrived which was good. However, the water had been shut off at the street and we had to wait for the city to come turn the water back on before we could get showers as we had been working in the heat of the summer. On check out day we went back to work to finish the project and when we returned to shower and check out at 10:15 the cleaning people were already there and said we were not permitted to take shower. We have been going to Pickwick the past few years, in the fall. We absolutely love the cabins. They are very comfortable and nicely devorated. Getting ready to make my reservations for this fall!
