Been there many times with the family. We liked the location for letting our kids run free without worrying about them getting into trouble. They enjoyed the independence of that experience I think. Once you get to the campground, the access road is a long cul-de-sac. Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Pine Creek makes for a great tubing ride in the summer months.
We stayed at the Trails Edge cabin this time. Beautiful cabin and extremely clean. The staff are beyond friendly. I also loved walking around and all the other campers were so kind and would say hello. The creek is a great place to cool off and the trail is awesome for walking and biking. We can’t wait to go back in October!
Our glamping tent was lovely! The bed and bedding was so cozy and the electric fireplace was a great touch and helped on those chilly nights. We loved being able to have fresh coffee first thing in the morning as well! Everyone at the campground was very friendly and the facilities are spotless. The location can’t be beat with direct access to the rail trail!
Staying at Pettecote Junction Campground is a wonderful experienced! This was my third time here and its a wonderful place to stay. Its located on the Pine Creek Rail Trail, right in the middle of the trail, 30 miles to Jersey shore and 30 miles to Wellsboro PJC is a wonderful place to stay for a long weekend.
My husband, son and daughter in law just spent 2 nights at this lovely campground and thoroughly enjoyed it! Not only was the location very scenic and beautiful, but the campground was also very clean (clean bathrooms are a MUST in my book and these bathrooms were very clean)!! ||||The campground owners were extremely nice and helpful. We kayaked Saturday down the Pine Creek and Doug, the owner was kind enough to load our kayaks in the back of his truck and drive us up a few miles to put in our boats and paddle down the creek to the campground. Absolutely loved the paddle and want to do a longer one next time.||||There is also the bike trail right above the campground with more stunning views and alot of great hiking and fishing in the area.
