Pescadero Creek Inn

We live less than an hour away and wanted a nice little getaway. We had a perfect anniversary stay here. Rooms were lovely and comfortable. The parlor is a collection of sweet and fun antiques. The next day, we headed over to the market, rounded up some items for a picnic (Harley farms would have been another nice stop but we’ve been there and didn’t need any cheese for our lunch) and headed over to Butano state park for a day of hiking.

Wonderful stay at Pescadero Creek Inn last night! Had a good chat with proprietary Ken,and was impressed by hid rebuild of the 1891 home. Sat in parlor and chatted with another guest. Put in request for carrot 🥕 juice early am as we had to shove off crack o dawn. Sure enough, looked in red frig there twas! Pleasant accommodations, we'll be back!

Sept 2025 We stayed in the Spring room for two nights. Very comfortable and quiet. The coffee/snack service was on time and very good. The Inn is a short walk to downtown. Next time we pass through Pescadero we will stay here again.

Clean, comfortable, private, good value, pretty view. 4 minute drive to Pescadero Beach, 4 minute walk to Duarte's Tavern, Downtown Local Coffee & ice cream, taqueria, and u-pick berries across the road. Historic details of the inn were lovely - old stone fire place, beveled glass. Modern comfort. Pretty trees and flowers offered privacy from the small road in front. Host was gracious, accommodating and easy to reach without being intrusive. We would stay here again.

This was an extremely disappointing experience. Most reviews have been high, but it should have been a red flag that there have not been any reviews in months. We stayed at the Garden Cottage. Being in a separate unit was nice, but that's where the positives end. Things are old and falling apart. There was dirt on the table. The glass that accompanied the morning juice was dirty itself with a layer of dark stuff on the bottom (which I only discovered after I had already poured juice into it and almost drank it, yuck). There is no comfortable place to sit with a desk/table. The owners never met us. The welcome letter gives Covid as a reason for no contact, but it's Winter 2024 and there is no reason for this anymore (it's perfectly fine for people to wear masks if there are health concern
