Peppertree Ocean Club

We stayed there for New Years. The people were very friendly and helpful. It is currently under renovtion but that didn't interfer with us having a wonderful stay. The view of the ocean each morning was wonderful. It isn't the most modern place but that didn't interfer with our vacation. I can't wait to see what the completed renovation site looks like. And, we didn't experienc e the place being dirty or trashy. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Room needs updating and painting. Main items seemed clean but trim in bathroom was dirty, toilet seat needs to be replaced, and tub has old adhesive from what looks like a no skid decal at one time. The main draw for this place is ocean front but the window seal must be broke because it is dirty band has streaks so the view is hard to enjoy without opening it. Can't leave open for long before flys get in. Laundry room has plenty of machines but they didn't clean or dry well. We had no bug issues so that was a plus. Entry doors were also loud when closing and alot of construction work being done in rooms around us til late in the evening. It was beachfront with a few walkways right to the beach. Disgusting. NOT HAPPY. I have a time share and this is a listed site. NEVER AGAIN. I booked this because we have stayed here several times in the past. Again, through our timeshare. I would have slept on a park bench before sleeping here. We literally checked in for 10 minutes and checked out. The front desk was polite, but they didn't seem surprised. The toilet was gross. I wouldn't even take a picture. This is unacceptable. I don't recommend this place. I could literally cry from the stress of finding another place to stay after driving 11 hours to get here. New tile flooring was the only positive. Dirt and hair around the bed.

We booked a room here from June 6 to June 12, but only stayed for one night. As soon as we arrived, we were uneasy. There was a lot of trash in the parking lot, mainly beer cans. I have never stayed at a place with that much trash in the parking lot. It resembled a budget motel, not a resort. When we got into our condo, we were uncomfortable with the level of cleanliness. We didn't want to touch anything. There were long hairs on the floor or stuck to the wall in different rooms. The bathroom had a turquoise hot tub on the left side that looks like it was left over from the 70's. It did not even match the rest of the bathroom or the condo, which appeared to be from the early 2000's. Arrived to "Resort" only one staff member in office. When i called to book room she said she would get us in when we got there it was 3 hours later that we got in the room . Very outdated rusted lamps dirty windows dirty furniture birty walls could not turn air lower than 68 degrees no hot water in the shower toilet rocked on the floor not very appealing outside of the building it was pretty quite but it is end of season office closes at 8 and after hours staff is the night security I know it is a old place but could be maintained better will not stay again
