Peppertree By the Sea

This space was convenient and for the most part clean for my family. They are currently going under construction which makes the parking lot limited. If you were to lose your room key(s) or deactivate your room key(s), they charge $75 for an inconvenience fee. They have very strict rules about check out time at 10am. My family and I were rushed out of our room at 10:30am and were told if we weren’t out by 11:00am we would be charged a fee of $50 plus any additional hour we were there. While other resorts have a checkout time of 11:00am with an option of extended checkout of 12:00pm, Peppertree by the Sea is by far my worst experience.

I was skeptical the outside makes you think otherwise even with construction going still. Overall it was a great stay would definitely will return, and see how much is updated by then. Loved the kitchen being provided with all the utensils, pots and pans, etc. The fridge is rusted, but I know that’s because of being near the beach. A lot of it is outdated, but it’s a decent stay. We enjoyed it.

This resort has some highs and some lows. The only good parts is the beachfront view and the activities. The cons are too much smoking and that some of the rooms are too cramped. Otherwise, it is ok. Would not recommend to anti smoking people.

The location is great with wonderful ocean-front views. The building is old and could do with some renovations, but it is comfortable and provides the basics for a beach vacation.

Beach view was nice! Pull-out sofa liner was dirty. No hot water, even though they said to wait 5 minutes because they reset the hot water. Never got hot. If you needed the one-ply toilet paper, they'd give you one at a time, when you have 3 women using the bathroom. The pool was green, so didn't get in it. Chips were stale at their food hut. Won't be staying there again.
