Penn Highlands Campground

Grew up there. Used to be at Charlie and Pat Gibsons house every day in the summer. My dad would run the honey dipper sometimes or mow or do fireworks. When I was a kid where the store is, there was a puttputt and I told Cody to nail it, he hit it and broke the window. Pat said she knew I didn’t do it. Lol 4th of Julys blue grass festivities the works. Truly incredible place to spend my childhood. One year they had a bon fire in the middle of the field from all the trees Charlie cleared. Biggest fire still to date I ever seen. Firefighters monitored it. Love that place! I’ll be back. There’s a crab apple tree grove and trails.

Great place for family fun. A lots of kids running about. Good for families with small children. Cons... playground is pretty much non existant, pond is constantly covered in algae and no store whatsoever.

Best place ever lots of nice kids everyone gets along so go make some friends

Great campground and very clean bathrooms. The people were friendly.
