Pecan Star (on the Blanco River)

Caroline is the absolute best host we have ever had! She is considerate she is kind she is always going above and beyond to make sure that every guest needs are met and that we are completely and totally happy with our stay! We have stayed here for years and will come back for years to come! What a gem we found years ago and just wanted everyone to know how amazing The cottage truly is!

I can't tell you enough good things about this cottage. The inside is absolutely adorable. A huge butcher block Island in the kitchen, two relaxing and nicely decorated bedrooms. Little touches of home all over the cottage, soft throw blankets, and a stocked kitchen. The outside of the cottage will blow your socks off. It's right next to the Blanco river. It has a beautiful outdoor sitting area with firepit. The hot tub was amazing. Wildflowers all over the property, we saw fireflies sparking up the night sky and a very vocal turkey came to visit us. I didn't want to leave. We highly recommend.

I’ve stayed here a few times over the years and the house has consistently been very clean and well kept. The grounds are very inviting and Caroline has been a top notch host. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. Great river access to boot!

We stayed here two years ago during the Easter weekend. The cottage is absolutely wonderful. It's decorated beautifully, we loved the huge butcher block island in the kitchen. The outside will blow your socks off! Right next to the Blanco river, it's a perfect location. And, not far to town. The hot tub and firepit put this cottage over the top. We enjoyed the sparkles of the fireflies at night and had a friendly very vocal turkey stop by. The beds are extremely comfortable and the host made sure we had everything we needed for a fantastic weekend. I could not recommend this cottage more for your next stay in Wimberely Texas.

Neat cabin the blanco. We had the river to ourselves during the day and the private hot tub at night. We would surely recommend this place as a quiet get away. The owner was very attentive and helpful with whatever we needed. Bedding and towels were fresh and comfy
