Renegade 38ft w/Jeep in tow. CG was booked for the weekends. 2 night stay in nearby Tiger Resort ($$$$$) over the weekend due to no available sites. #15 was surrounded by trees, secluded. Highway noise comes from across the lake but not bad. Roads are narrow but navigablewatch for pot holes. Bike paths to Frisco & Breck. Frisco is minutes away (Walmart). CG female manager provided no assistance & was standoffish. The CG host was friendly and tried to help. We camped at Peak One Campground in a Motorhome.
Perfect spot! Plenty of tree coverage in A loop, still get secluded sites for tent camping with more privacy than expected. Toilets were great, had indoor and outhouses, both prime. Real close to the water and town, really didn't have to cook our own grub as much with town only 5min away.
Review for Peak One Campground – Frisco, CO (Dillon Reservoir) Peak One Campground is one of the most beautiful campgrounds I’ve stayed at. It sits right on Dillon Reservoir with breathtaking views of the mountains in every direction. The sites are well-maintained, clean, and you really can’t beat waking up to that scenery. But despite the amazing location, my overall experience was overshadowed by the campground manager, Rob. His behavior went far beyond being unprofessional – it was aggressive to the point that I felt incredibly uncomfortable and even fearful. • Aggressive and Intimidating Management: When I made a few small mistakes because of misinformation, Rob confronted me and my best friend in a way that was completely out of line. He got right up in our faces, yelling and spitti
Smaller pine trees that shelter and give the sense that you’re in your own private lakeside home. Friendly camp host and reasonable prices. Bathrooms were out of order but clean-smelling port-a-potties. And of course Amazing Views!!
Clean. Great views! Not all spots accommodate all rvs; many have flat grades, but several have severe crowns and drop 2-4ft from road height. They had porta-jons when we were there but some of the cleanest I've had to use.
