Peaceful Woodlands Family Campground

Staff was friendly and bathrooms were generally clean, but the overall experience was disappointing. Check-in was confusing. We were left waiting while others who arrived later were waved through. Our campsite was small, very close to neighbors, and even being used by them to unload when we arrived. It also hadn’t been fully cleaned, with leftover trash and tent stakes left behind. Noise was also a major issue. Kids often ran through our site, and our neighbors ignored quiet hours (11 pm–8 am). We had to contact staff on two different nights, and while they did respond, the disruptions continued. To make matters worse, the neighbors’ baby cried at 1 am one night and 5 am the next, with no efforts made to comfort them, letting the wailing continue for at least 15 min straight. After two sh

We tent camped on two carefully selected adjacent sites so we had decent privacy for our family/friends group of 7 people. The campground is nicely wooded, but the sites are very close together. The stone fire pits were nice and sturdy, but no grill is provided. Bring your own if you plan on cooking over the wood fire, and you might need to shovel ash out before you can use the fire pit. There is no dish cleaning sink, just a cold water faucet. Really not set up for true tent campers. ||The main restrooms and showers were superb! Very clean, with ample hot water and a heater light in the changing area. ||The one problem we had with really loud music after quiet hours was quickly addressed. We stopped for one night at Peaceful Woodlands. The campground was clean & we felt safe. The bathrooms were clean. We felt very safe there. It was mid week and in late September so there weren't many campers there.

This is my first time here, and it’s actually less then a mile from my house. I saw the website and liked the photos, prices and amenities so my friend booked a week trip and it was the first time I got to take my husky camping also. She was so happy, beautiful little cabins, all the other campers were so friendly! And I love that they don’t discriminate dog by breed or size. And all the dogs we got to see and meet, were so well behaved !! I read some reviews where people complained about things like being too close to others, and I didn’t think it was bad at all. And I saw others complain about noise, especially after hours, not this past weekend. There was the normal noise, during the day, but i loved it, it’s kids making core memories, its happiness and people living in the moment

The cabin was clean and had tons of outlets. Everything worked as it should. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The best place we have found to camp. We are really looking forward to coming back next year. 🏕️
