Peace River Oaks

Great Vacation Spot! We had a wonderful stay at Peace River Oaks! The property was very clean and well maintained, which made our vacation even more enjoyable. There were plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained, and it was especially great for kids with lots for them to do. It’s also pet friendly, which was a huge plus for us. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Overall, it’s a great place for a family vacation, and we would definitely come back again!

We took our 5 and 3 year olds glamping at Peace River Oaks. The property was very clean, well-maintained, and very family friendly. Activities kept the kids busy and engaged. We also added on the 1hour canoe trip and ATV rides. Both were really fun and age appropriate for little kids. The amenities like water cooler in the tent, great BBQ right outside the tent, and screened in porch were all really convenient. Beds were comfy. Tents stayed dark and cool (AC a huge plus!). It really was a terrific place to take kids to get a wilderness camping experience that was manageable and everyone slept!

We stayed at the Peace River Oaks campground for 5 nights last week. Daniel checked us in and took great care of us throughout our stay, including helping us figure out a BBQ dinner and how/when to attend some events at the campground over the weekend. The atmosphere is laid back, the trees are spectacular and there are a ton of nice and fun amenities. I spent about 2 hours trail biking and got up close and personal with a raccoon, a hawk and an owl! There are tons of family activities, live music on the weekends, sometimes movies on the lawn and a really nice space for everyone to hang out with things like a firepit, putt putt, ping pong, horseshoes, etc. Oh, and really nice full bathrooms available! This place is wonderful! My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary here along with our dog and it was perfect. The cabins are cozy, spacious and clean (AC is always a plus) and private bathrooms are great. They have a nice hiking trail as well as canoes and side by sides/ATVs to rent which was really fun. Nights are quieter/more relaxing but it's great for a peaceful trip to just sit by the fire or enjoy the hot tub and just chill. This place was def worth it!

There were 20 of us in 5 of the highly constructed glamping tents. The cleanliness and quality of bedding made my stay outstanding. The heated private bathroom was an exceptional nice touch. We had ordered up the hot tubs and despite the extreme cold temperatures we found the 109* water temp to be delightful. It’s nice to know they change the water with each new guest. I have to complement the manager, Daniel, who stayed calm durning our stay with all our requests. Some of us can become needy and no request went unattended to. I recommend this campground to everyone. They have activities for everyone. The space is well kept. The oak trees are enormous and the campsite are huge. We had no issues with the Wi-Fi. It worked great. Take the time to go on the river and rent the side by sides. I
