Parkway Grove Cabins

We absolutely loved staying here for so many reasons. We arrived over a holiday weekend and unfortunately the weather was pretty atrocious, but because the cabin is so thoughtfully designed and well-equipped, we never felt like we missed out or didn’t get full value from our stay. Everything we needed was right there, which made it easy to relax and enjoy being cozy indoors. The only small thing to note is that we lost power for about six hours during a storm; we had brought lanterns and flameless candles, which made it manageable, but without those it would have been tough given how dark and stormy it was. Access to the cabin was incredibly easy, and the location is fantastic. We’re already looking forward to coming back in the spring or summer so we can get out and enjoy the hiking and

We stayed at Parkway Grove cabins for 3 days during the Thanksgiving break. The place is neat, clean and cozy. It was perfect for our family of four with adequate common space and rooms. The tiny kitchen was perfect, with pots and pans and all the basics needed. The backyard with a firepit, barbecue and ziplinr was just cherry on the cake. It is just a 2 minutes walk from the Avenue cafe and has great outdoor space as well.

Loved being right in the redwoods on the Avenue of the Giants. Super close to a store for last minute items but still in the woods. The remodel is gorgeous, beds are comfy and the welcome basket with snacks and coffee is such a sweet touch. This location is absolutely perfect as a home base, whether you’re in town for the AOTG Marathon or just sightseeing, as it is an easy drive to many Redwood groves, Garberville, Redway, Whitethorn or Shelter Cove if you want to see the ocean and some incredible black sand beaches. Host is super communicative if you have any questions or want information about local restaurants or attractions. My husband and I started planning our next trip almost as soon as we returned home. Great stay.

Perfect place to stay along the Avenue of Giants. Kitchen is fully equipped. Very clean and nicely maintained. Very quiet. Highly recommended!
