Park Place on the River Condominiums

I give it two stars. 1 for location (even though our view was of a sewage water plant) because it was close enough to the main road to walk places, and the other star because it was a shelter. But that’s as good as it got. Room 407 put us back into the 70’s with the decor. The living room couch is hard as a rock. The living room loveseat is broken. We sat in it and practically sunk to the floor. There are boards missing. One bedroom had two full-size beds that feel like you’re sleeping on the box springs. The main bedroom’s bed is very weird. You have to jump to get in it if you’re under 6 feet tall. And the feel is kind of like a waterbed. The bedroom in the loft sinks you down into the middle so if two people sleep on it, you will be very cozy in the middle of the bed because it sinks li

Stayed here in rm 206 with family members for a few nights. Overall not a bad place if you are looking for somewhere to stay. Water was hot (a little too hot), WiFi worked when I needed it to, and the view was decent as well. It’s a short walk to the strip so that was a big plus as well. The reason it gets 3 stars is because we disinfected all the beds sheets and couches in the room when we arrived. My first night I slept on the couch and grabbed an extra cover they had provided. A day later I found out I was bitten by bed bugs. All over my neck, stomach, legs, back, etc. in total there were 5 people staying in the room the only outlier was that I slept with the spare cover while everyone else slept with the covers already on the beds. It’s a wonderful place to stay. We had an issue with the thermostat and living room tv. They had an hvac repair man there the same day that we reported the problem. We also had a brand new tv by Tuesday. My husband and I always stay here when we are in Gatlinburg. They always make us feel welcome when we get there and it’s convenient to walk all of Gatlinburg without moving your car.

Our Gatlinburg vacations are always topped off with our stay at Park Place. Easy to walk into town from their location, so you can park your car in the garage and forget about it until time to leave. The rooms are spacious, and as comfortable as you'll find anywhere. And sitting on the balcony over the rushing water below is heavenly for relaxing after a day of town fun. It's Park Place or no place for us!

#108 is a 5 star condo unit . Everything is convenient. Shopping , restaurants and fun activities are withing walking distance. The condo itself is beautiful and clean . Beautifully decorated and clean with all you need to entertain if you want to . We celebrated our anniversary here and we will definitely be back . Also Donna is so nice and easy to book your next vacation with .
