Park James Hotel

Fantastic stay. Room was great  everyone was customer focused and hospitable.visited friends so didn’t use the restaurant.  I left something in the room and the hotel called and left a message. Overall, great experience.

My wife and I have never been to the area before and we were in town for the SB so wanted to find a hotel that wasn't incredibly overpriced (looking at you SF) + convenient for us to travel from...wow were we pleasantly surprised by the Park James. This is such a hidden gem in Menlo Park. The front desk & GM (so accommodating and friendly), clean, well-designed & thoughtful rooms to the ease of being able to drive to other towns easily made this such a great stay. Would highly reco and would stay here again if we're in town!

My wife and I stayed at Park James over the holidays, and we truly enjoyed our stay. The staff made us feel very welcome from the start. Everyone was attentive, professional, and genuinely kind it really showed in the way they took care of us throughout our visit. The food was excellent and consistently well done. Every meal felt thoughtful and well prepared, which made the holidays even more enjoyable, especially knowing the ingredients were fresh and healthy. The room was clean and comfortable. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is warm, elegant, and easy to enjoy. We had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended

All Sizzle and No Steak This hotel is absolutely gorgeous — from the lobby to the rooms, every detail looks stunning. The staff was equally impressive; the valets, front desk, housekeeping, and concierge were all top notch. The concierge responded to text requests within minutes, which was fantastic. Unfortunately, the hotel seems to prioritize aesthetics over functionality. There was no microwave, no complimentary breakfast, and parking wasn’t included. The TV in our room didn’t work, and the Wi-Fi had no password, which raised security concerns. The bathroom featured a barn-style door with a two-inch gap, offering no privacy and letting smells spread through the room. We booked here for Thanksgiving weekend to visit family and our stay was incredible! The location is very convenient and a short drive from SFO. We had Thanksgiving dinner at their restaurant and the food was the highlight of our stay!! Everything was delicious and the staff was very friendly and attentive to any requests. The rooms are gorgeous and clean. The front desk staff is amazing too! 10/10 experience!
