Best Western Plus Riviera

Horrible accommodations. Not even close to worth what we had to pay for one night. The beds were worse than army barracks, very thin hard mattress on metal bed frame with no bed skirt. Thin blankets. Heater was in the cabinet under the sink in the bathroom. The bathroom was very old and not updated at all. The front desk receptionist was not friendly. The elevator was probably from the early 1900’s. We were concerned if we would be stuck in it. Stairway was not convenient. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

Extremely noisy. Not even the provided earplugs are sufficient for a night’s sleep. Walls are thin and you get to hear everything everyone is doing around you. Beds are loud and squeaky, mattresses closer to economy airplane seats than sleep accommodations. Avoid at all costs.

The rooms were clean and nice. Save your money and do not upgrade to the pool view as I did. First, pool view is reaching. Second, the sidewalk is currently under construction.

Positive: This hotel is a great example of making the best of what you have. The staff and owners obviously put time and money into making the building and rooms as nice as they can. The hotel itself looks older but it is well taken care of. Negative: Unfortunately, the night we stayed the city decided to do late night road construction. It obviously isn't the hotels fault but the management put ear plugs in our room and that was very considerate of them.

Stayed here last week and had a fantastic experience. We arrived late at night, and Andy was incredibly welcoming and helpful. His hospitality made check-in very smooth. The room was clean, and super comfortable, I had great sleep. Excellent service all around, highly recommend staying here!
