Paradise Mountain

We stayed at Paradise Mountain while we were house-hunting. It met all our needs and then some. The views are amazing, the hosts extremely courteous and helpful. It was a very comfortable way to pass our time while waiting. The owners are so fun to talk to about fun places to check out, as well as the local flora and fauna. We whole-heartedly recommend Paradise Mountain!

I enjoyed every minute of my stay at Paradise Mountain. The apartment is very comfortable, clean, quiet, private and well-equipped. The views (especially the sunrise) are stunning. The location cannot be better, close to Crozet and Charlottesville as well as numerous hiking trails. The property also has trails that are fun to explore. The hosts were very welcoming and responsive. I highly recommend and hope to stay again soon!

What a wonderful getaway! Spent a milestone birthday weekend with my girlfriends. Perfect balance of quiet peaceful nature and all the amenities. Great location! We visited Shenandoah National park for hiking, then a local ranch for horse back riding, and strawberry and peach picking right up the street. We spent the evenings watching the stars from the hot tub and playing cards. Very enjoyable and convenient.

I stayed nearly a month at Paradise Mountain. I enjoyed everything about my stay. This just has to be the best kept secret of Virginia. I was under a huge amount of stress while waiting to close on a house in the area, selecting a contractor and making renovation plans. Being in nature was exactly what I needed to combat the stress and healing my anxious thoughts. Leah and her family were the most gracious hosts I've every had the pleasure of staying with. I felt like Leah was a friend or neighbor I'd known for years. I enjoyed full privacy and also the comfort of knowing that they were nearby and a phone call away when I needed anything. The house was so charming and well decorated, and the view from the back deck is AMAZING. Loved sitting out there with my friends drinking coffee every morning. There's tons to do even just around the house- walking trails, a strawberry farm, a vineyard, etc. Could not ask for nicer hosts. Such a cute couple and super sweet, they were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed!! 10/10 would recommend Paradise Mountain. We will be going back.
