Paradise Cove Lodge

If you wanna check in early, it can be a gamble if someone there or not. The place itself for a stay is wonderful, the view is amazing. The fact there's chairs outside your door to sit and watch the lake makes for wonderful moments at sunset or sunrise. Worth checking into

Got a room last minute on Labor Day weekend. They had 2 available out of about 16 total rooms. There's a shared wooden porch with seating that runs along the front of the rooms, which has a terrific view of the lake. A steakhouse is on the premises, and a nice-sized lakefront campground is across the two-lane highway. The Staff is friendly. Our room's decor was old, and it lacked USB outlets, but it did have free Wi-Fi, a small fridge, a TV, and A/C, and our room was clean. Reminded me of a hotel out of the 70s.

Did not stay at the hotel, this is only for the restaurant. Food is very good, ordered the cheapest steak and it was cooked perfectly tender. They added a small portion of bread and salad that is tasty and fresh that helped fill me up, gave me generous amount of sour cream/ butter/onion for baked potato very nice. Great view, good beer, can’t ask for much more. Waiter was super busy but stayed chill.

This place is very clean and neat. I did not have any trouble sleeping. My kids and wife was pleased. The gentleman who helped us get a room on 4th of July...was respectful and nice. Never asked his name. I will for sure be staying here again...next time visiting Lake Isabella.

Great restaurant with awesome staff and clean newly remodeled inexpensive rooms.
