Old Isabella

I thought the mountain's were beautiful and the scenery. But to be honest I was checking out that lake water, and omg it's absolutely dirty. I am super creeped out on dirty swimming water.

There isn't any shade trees and it's boon docking. There is fill and dump as soon as you enter. We chose to boondock at the lower Kern River next to the water by a big tree. We fished, prospect and watch a bunch of rafters go by. Everyone was in the water swimming on Saturday.

This lake is very large, driving through the streets, it took us about 1 hour to finish driving through everything. There were people taking their boats and jet skis. It was nice that people arrived with food and meat to roast.

Great spot to camp or enjoy a relaxing view of the lake and nature surrounding. Very serene

I came to look from LAX a very transitated community ... when I arrived it's just incredible the peacefulness you feel. Maybe it had to do with me going on a weekday idk ... but definetly coming back!
